Mark Green
Wealth Advisor
Mark Green is the President and Founder of GFG Wealth Advisors and has spent more than four decades in the investment services industry. He began his career in 1985 in back-office operations at a major wirehouse, gaining firsthand knowledge of financial markets and investment infrastructure. In 1994, he became a Registered Investment Advisor, shifting his focus to deeply personalized financial guidance. That decision shaped the philosophy that continues to define his practice. Know your client, stay connected, learn what they need, and assist them in achieving it.
Over the years, Mark has built GFG Wealth Advisors around relationship-first service, disciplined investment thinking, and steady guidance through evolving markets. Clients value his experience, calm perspective, and commitment to clear communication.
Mark’s service extends beyond wealth management. He has served on the Boards of the Brazos Valley Boys and Girls Club, the Brazos Valley Council for Alcohol and Substance Abuse, and the Brazos Valley Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is also a charter member of Christ Church in College Station, where he served on the founding finance committee and sang in the choir.
Family sits at the center of Mark’s life and work. He has been married to his wife, Sheri, for over thirty-five years. Their daughter Brittney serves as Director of Client Services at GFG Wealth Advisors, continuing the family tradition of personal client care. Their younger daughter, Haley, serves in the United States Air Force.
Outside the office, Mark enjoys traveling with Sheri, spending time with family and friends, playing golf and pickleball, playing the piano, and following Aggie Baseball and Lady Aggie Softball.
